HULL Ionians found their energy levels and confidence to storm into 19-0 lead in the first 20 minutes to lay the foundation for victory.
Wharfedale had their chances but with the wind at their backs dropped far too many passes. To their credit, Dale fought back with three second-half tries, but it was too little too late.
