Drama as Reeve wins it late for Chester

A dramatic finish at Hare Lane saw Chester pip their visitors at the death, Liam Reeve stepping up to knock over an 80th-minute penalty.
Despite a strong start from Dale, it was Chester’s Gethin Long who strode over for the first try and Harrison Vare soon added a second, taking advantage of a missed tackle.
But the men from Yorkshire regrouped well. Sam Gaudie’s break was supported by Oscar Canny and the winger had the presence of mind to feed Ryan Carlson on his inside, who finished well.
