In-form Hull Ionians were made to work hard against struggling Harrogate as they withstood a late rally.
Graham Steadman’s side came into the contest on the back of six wins on the bounce and their confidence was evident from the off.
Tyler Heelas touched down in just the fourth minute, and the home forwards were celebrating again when Ben Bell crashed over.
Bell proceeded to add his second as Ionians opened up a 19-point lead, which had much of the crowd doubting Harrogate’s chances of clawing anything from the contest....
