THIS was a sorry end to an already disappointing Harrogate season.
They were outplayed by Wharfedale, with the few encouraging moments coming from veteran players, Tim Heaton, Sam Brady and Steve Maycock.
Early Wharfedale pressure had Harrogate on the back foot and, after 11 minutes Harry Bullough made the extra man from a line-out to score.
A Rory MacNab penalty opened Harrogate’s account but this was quickly followed by a Rian Hamilton try to extend Wharfedale’s lead, before an attacking lineout led to a Josh Burridge converted ...
