TYNEDALE’S six-match winning streak was brought to a juddering halt by high-flying Rotherham, thanks to a hat-trick of tries from right wing Connor Field.
Tynedale played some of their best rugby of the season, but were thwarted by the Titans’ clinical defence and fine finishing.
Tynedale were over the Titans line twice in the opening stages, but it was Rotherham who took the lead after 13 minutes when centre James Cooke crossed in the corner.
