BLAYDON produced a dominant first-half display, with superiority in both backs and forwards, to claim victory.
The first try came in the 13th minute when Blaydon were awarded a penalty which they kicked into touch on the visitors 5m line. The ball was worked between backs and forwards until hooker Chaplin went over near the posts; the conversion was successful.
