Chester refuse to bow to pressure

CHESTER overcame the blustery conditions – as well as Luctonians – to claim the victory.
The home side were in front within two minutes when an attacking scrum in the visitors’ 22 allowed the backs to find space for Iwan Phillips to score.
Luctonians then began to use their forwards to exert pressure.
Fortunately for the hosts, their defensive line speed was good and consistently forced Luctonians into errors, which enabled Liam Reeve to harness the wind and pin them back.
