Dale win the battle of the strugglers

TYNEDALE opened their account for the season with a hardearned victory against their fellow strugglers.
Luctonians were always in with a shout, and led at the interval, but a late surge from the Northumbrians saw them make the 600-mile round trip back to Herefordshire still seeking their first league points.
There were few periods of sustained attacking play by either outfit.
Tynedale dominated for the opening 25 minutes, but all they had to show for their pressure were two penalties by Ross Cooke.
