SHAY Owen scored a hat-trick as Chester strengthened their promotion bid by securing a dominant bonus-point victory against play-off rivals Huddersfield at Hare Lane.
The hosts, who have only lost once at home all season, move 11 points clear of third-place Fylde and are level on points with league leaders Hull Ionians.
