OTLEY’S bold bid to snatch a late victory came up dramatically short.
Having fought back from 22-8 down with 15 minutes left, the visitors had a simple penalty chance which would have earned them a draw.
Instead, they went for a lineout, from which a series of powerful drives brought them within inches of a famous win, before referee Benjamin Davis ruled the ball had been held up and blew for time.
