FYLDE battled their way to victory in tough conditions against Leicester Lions.
It looked like being a comfortable afternoon for the hosts in the opening 20 minutes. First, Thomas Carleton scored a try after just two minutes, Gregory Smith converting to give them an early advantage.
Then, just a few minutes later, Adam Lewis added another try, with Smith again making no mistake with his kicking, to hand Fylde a dominant 14-0 lead.
