SEDGLEY Park paid the penalty for refusing at least half a dozen straightforward pots at goal to kick for position in the first half of this thrilling encounter.
Tynedale’s magnificent defence proved equal to everything the visitors could throw at them and, deep into injury time, the Northumbrians scored the winning try to move out of the relegation zone.
Tynedale took a third minute lead through Rob Parker after a quick penalty from scrum half Cam Kelemeti, but were never out of their own half for the remainder of the first period.
