Green holds his nerve for the Ionians

HULL Ionians left it late to record a victory on their return to National Two North. Trailing with the match in its final moments, they conjured up a try and conversion to snatch the win in a high-scoring, seesaw encounter.
Tigers had the early possession and were rewarded with a penalty but Ionians then hit their straps, James Tincknell made inroads before the forwards rumbled on for a penalty try.
With both sides down to 14, Tigers cut the deficit with another penalty.
