OTLEY’S forward put in a powerful display as they battled past Blaydon. The visitors took the lead on three minutes, Andrew Miller running on to his own kick to score with Joe Whyman adding the conversion. Shortly after, Brett Mitchell picked up a loose ball in his own half and set up Mike Coady, who crashed under the posts, Joe Rowntree converting. Otley took the lead after an exchange of converted three-pointers when Blaydon gave away another penalty.
