WHARFEDALE earned their maiden away victory of the campaign against relegated Grasshoppers.
Hoppers led 34-19 with 33 minutes remaining, but a late Dale surge meant they finished their season with a win away from home.
Hoppers were 14-0 up inside the first ten minutes. Niall Crosley ran in from 20 metres, then Matt Gargett doubled the lead with a solo effort, Lewis Allen converting both scores.
