OLD Albanian’s eight-match winning run came to end in an exciting encounter.
Bury made the better start and took the lead when Euan Rees scored on the right following slick passing. Callum Hall added the extras.
Another Bury back move then led to a try for Alex Earnshaw.
OA hit back when Alex Noot scored a 50-metre try following a jinking run, and Sam Jones converted.
Another Noot break took him to the line where he fed Andrew Nurse to score. Jones added the extras.
