Barnes eased to victory in a scrappy encounter against battling North Walsham.
Barnes started brightly and took the lead when Giles Bromley-Martin handed off his opposite number to score the first try after six minutes. Louis Ellis converted.
The visitors struck back as fly-half Matthew Hodgson sold a dummy and the Barnes defence opened up for him to offload to Ethan Sikorski to dot down under the posts. Hodgson converted to level at 7-7 after 12 minutes.
