Last-gasp miss hands victory to Rochford

A MISSED Canterbury conversion deep into injury time ensured Rochford emerged victorious from an end-to-end encounter.
Rochford made the stronger start and pressure resulted in the first try in the 19th minute by fly-half Sam Cappaert, who also added the conversion.
Canterbury responded and pressure on the Rochford defence saw a penalty try awarded after 26 minutes.
