A TRY either side of halftime proved enough for Henley Hawks to overcome some resolute home defending and beat Leicester Lions for the first time at TMDP Park.
Hawks enjoyed much of the possession in the opening stages, but after Lions centre Luke Veebel grabbed an interception and drove towards the try line, the visitors conceded a penalty, allowing Ben Young to open the scoring with his boot in the third minute.
