HENLEY bounced back from last week's defeat at , scoring eight tries without reply.

The scoreline was comfortable enough, but the Hawks didn't really reach the heights that have done earlier in the season.

After a scrappy opening, they opened the scoring after ten minutes with a try from skipper Sam Lunnon.

Dan converted. Hawks had most of the possession as the Wild Geese struggled to get any foothold in the game.

But Hawks were guilty of trying to force the game.

Barnes and Jack Robinson went close before prop Ian Stock crashed over after a break from Liam O'Neill.

Barnes's conversion gave the Hawks a 14-0 lead.

In the second half, Hawks struggled for continuity, but, with the Irish offering little in attack, they eased further ahead without any difficulty.

Barnes broke through a number of tackles to score a try which he converted before the game went to uncontested scrums.

A quick heel enabled Xav Andre to score, and then Scott White added another from a line out drive, both of which were converted by Barnes.

Irish barely spent any time in the Hawks half and Henley scored three tries in the last five minutes.

Liam O'Neill broke clear from a set-piece to score, before his brother, Liam, finished off a great handling move.

Liam got his second try in the closing minutes.
