A LAST-GASP try secured the points for a disappointing Bury side and denied the visitors a deserved bonus point in an intense fixture.
A game punctuated by numerous stoppages for injury failed to ignite, playing into the Londoners hands.
Bury got off to a dream start though, with hooker Callum Torpey being driven over after just nine minutes.
Bury, missing Ben Leng and Mark Kohler, lacked cutting edge and lateral attacks were easily dealt with by Barnes defensive organisation.
