TONBRIDGE Juddians started the season with two tries inside the opening five minutes but ultimately had to rely on the left boot of Will Robinson to see off newly-promoted Birmingham & Solihull.
A Duncan Tout break was finished by Rob White who took just two minutes to open his TJs account on debut. Two minutes later and TJs crossed again. Finn Coxon-Smith broke the line and Toby May, also on debut, was on hand to cross for his first try in a TJs shirt. Fly-half Robinson converted and the home side were 12-0 up.
