AN enthralling encounter saw an Aiden Moss inspired Canterbury rally back after four losses leaving in danger of relegation. Old Redcliffians wasted no time in earning their first points as left-winger Ezra Caven went over for a try in the second minute with Ashley Groves slotting the extras.

The Reds continued to dominate after Daniel Smart's high kick was dotted down by Thomas Hargan in the corner, but Groves failed to convert. Canterbury hauled themselves back as their scrum secured a pushover try, touched over by Sebastian Clarke.

A penalty was awarded to Canterbury, with Miller taking the punt, earning the home-side more muchneeded points.

Star man Moss dashed 50 metres down the far-left to deliver another blow, followed by a Miller try which was the result of another Smart high-kick, all converted by Miller, making the score 22-12 before the interval.

After the restart, Canterbury's Barney Howard side-stepped a tackle and dotted down for the bonuspoint try.

The Reds attempted to make amends with Ethan Doyle and Fry dashing over the line.

Canterbury's Clark received a yellow card but the home team rounded off the win with tries from Jonathan Murray and Moss, with Miller taking his tally to 13 points.
