Leaders given a fright by plucky Clifton

TAUNTON made it nine wins in a row to consolidate their spot at the summit of the table.
But they were given an almighty scare by a plucky Clifton side that pushed them all the way and thoroughly deserved to take something from an entertaining game that produced 12 tries.
The signs looked ominous for Clifton as the Titans raced into a 17-0 lead inside 13-minutes, thanks to tries by wing Aron Struminski, centre Tom Popham and full-back Gary Kingdom, who also landed a conversion.
