REDINGENSIANS Rams’ formidable pack introduced themselves to Clifton with an outset of aggression and it paid dividends with a confident victory.
The home side soon picked up a penalty try against their Bristolian visitors and gave Sam Guttridge the first of many successes on kicking duties.
But Clifton were quick to make amends with No.8 Andy Chesters scoring from the momentum of a penalty kick a few moments earlier.
