Venables hat-trick rescues the Tykes

RUNAWAY leaders Leeds Tykes overcame a scare to beat Tynedale and preserve their 100 per cent record.
That run was in serious jeopardy after half an hour as they trailed Tynedale 12-0, were being shoved all over the park and had a man in the sin bin.
But the Tykes hit back with a burst of five tries, three of which came from Charlie Venables, with a brace from Aarin Yorke. Kieran Davies was deadly from the tee, converting all five tries to take the Tykes’ winning run to 14 games.
