A QUIETfirst half followed by an explosive second half performance secured a 24 - 15 victory for the Rams.
Proud head coach Seb Reynolds said: “Wimbledon had a very strong side out and we knew exactly how dangerous they could be.
“Our boys dealt with them with good set-pieces, a good defensive foundation and some clinical attacking play.”
The first half lacked dynamism with the only try of the half coming from Robbie Stapley after fine work from Joe Duffelen and Conor Corrigan.
