Denstone denied by smart camera

Berkhamstead secured a 39-36 victory against Denstone College at StoneX Stadium on Wednesday.
With the clock in the red, Denstone led 36-34 as Berkhamstead pummelled their try line and replacement Douglas Smith dived over for the match-winning try. The referee initially couldn’t confirm the grounding, despite the touch judge’s input, as he was not independent, but a vigilant cameraman positioned just behind the dead ball line had recorded the crucial moment.
