Benjamin Kayser: Gap between Premiership and Top 14 is huge

The top two sides in the Top 14 meet in today’s Champions Cup semi-final at the Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux, a contrast to the Premiership, where leaders Bath failed to make the knock-out stages and second-place Leicester reached the last 16 but conceded 123 points in their last two matches.
The match-up between holders Toulouse and Bordeaux-Begles is a repeat of last season’s Top 14 final, a horribly one-sided affair that Toulouse won by 56 points.
