Joe Carpenter has committed his long-term future to Sale Sharks by signing a new contract until 2029, insisting he believes the club can finally turn years of near-misses into major silverware.
The 24-year-old fullback, who had one season remaining on his previous deal, has opted to extend his stay despite Sale enduring a disappointing 2025-26 Premiership campaign.
The Greater Manchester outfit finished seventh after beginning the season among the title favourites.
