The national head coach was at the Recreation Ground last weekend as centre Slade inspired Chiefs to their semi-final win over Bath and put a stake in the ground for a summer tour spot.
Slade, below, now 33, led the charge as Chiefs rebounded from ninth last season and reached yesterday’s Prem final - showcasing he still has plenty left.
