Tom Pearson has had another strong season for Premiership leaders Northampton Saints but has not come closer to adding to his one England cap.

The 26-year old flanker’s name is high on a number of statistical tables in this season’s Prem, from carries and metres made to dominant tackles and turnovers.
However, he has failed to make it beyond the A squad having made his Test debut before the 2023 World Cup.
“It is so competitive with England, as it is at Northampton,” said Pearson, who joined the Saints, his boyhood club, after London Irish folded three years ago.
