Joe Carpenter believes the signings Sale Sharks have made for next season will help them climb the Premiership table.

The Sharks have four matches left in what has been a bitterly disappointing campaign, out of playoff contention and out of the Champions Cup after losing at Leinster in the quarter-final without showing much in attack.
They defeated Harlequins last weekend at The Stoop, but have yet to beat a team above them in the table.
Next up is Gloucester at Kingsholm on Friday.
