Bristol Bears wing Gabriel Ibitoye is one of the Premiership’s most swashbuckling players, but his daring and adventure, as well as his defensive awareness, have yet to earn him an England cap.

It may have come this season when, having played for England A, he tore a hamstring off the bone against Leicester Tigers in the opening Premiership round in September and was out of action for four months.
