Harlequins have focused on resilience in preseason training after poor finishes dampened their last three league campaigns.
They lost four of their final six matches last season and five of the last seven in the previous two campaigns to dash their hopes of a top-four finish.
Since winning the title in 2021, they have finished in the bottom half of the table three times after failing to kick on during the part of the season when their running game should flourish as the days lengthen and pitches become firmer.
