Tommy Freeman has taken inspiration from club colleague Alex Mitchell as he strives to make England’s Six Nations squad, which will be announced next week.
The 22-year old won the first two of his three England caps on the 2022 tour to Australia, starting on the left wing in the final two Tests, which were both won to clinch the series.
He was on the right wing for Eddie Jones’s final match as head coach against South Africa at Twickenham, but was not involved in the Six Nations, overtaken by the player who had replaced him in the two Tests Down Under, Henry Arundell. He was ...
