New Leicester Tigers recruit Ben Woollett is ‘buzzing to play footy’ with Handré Pollard and Freddie Steward and make the most of being at Welford Road, after enduring the turmoil at Jersey Reds in the past month.
The Australian flyer has opened up on a difficult few weeks, which has seen him leave his home on the channel island and live out of a suitcase, jumping from hotel to hotel.
But he’s already enjoying being part of the Leicester set-up, and after being made to feel welcome by head coach, and fellow Aussie, Dan McKellar, below, the 26-year-old is feeling upbeat.
