Prem hoping to avoid Six Nations clashes

London Irish’s demise means the Premiership will be reduced to 10 teams next season and officials are looking to arrange the fixture list so there are no clashes with Six Nations matches.
The league campaign will not start until mid-October because of the World Cup and it will be made up of 18 rounds before the play-offs.
The fixtures are scheduled to be announced on July 18, six weeks before the season kicks off with the revamped Premiership Cup.
It will be a squeeze even without autumn internationals with the Heineken Champions Cup and the Challenge Cup taking up eight week...
