Red card not to blame – Diamond

STEVE Diamond says Duhan van der Merwe’s red card was harsh but refused to blame referee Jack Makepeace for their heavy defeat.
The Scotland wing was sent off in the 46th minute for elbowing Kyle Rowe in the face and Diamond said: “You can blame the referee however much you want but the referee didn’t make half as many mistakes as we did.
