Alex is baffled by scrum decisions

SALE director of rugby Alex Sanderson offered a possible explanation after his side continued their long losing away run with their last win coming at Bath back in May.
“I don’t see playing home or away as being any point of difference.
“But it might influence the referee and I think it might have tonight, maybe. He’s one of the world’s best (Wayne Barnes) but I couldn’t fathom some of those decisions around the scrum. I’d have to have another look because there are a lot of moving parts to it.”
