NEWCASTLE Falcons are trying to sign experienced South African lock Jeremy Jordaan, 30, who is playing for Agen in France.
Jordaan, right, born in Bloemfontein, moved to Agen last year, but the club have now been relegated from the Top 14.
He left South Africa in 2019 after playing for several Currie Cup outfits to join Russian side Yenisey-STM but then moved to France last year.
Dean Richards is looking to strengthen his squad and is believed to have offered Jordaan a deal after Agen said he was free to leave the club.
