Paul Deacon says becoming a head coach is next step in his career

PAUL Deacon admitted he still had “no idea” how long he would remain in charge of Sale after masterminding another win.
He said: “I’ve still no idea - you’ll have to ask the owners about that.
“I’m enjoying it and you always sleep better when you win. I think becoming head coach is the next step in my career. That’s why I’m enjoying this so much.
“There is more pressure to it, but it’s something I’m relishing and hopefully the lads are enjoying my leadership style and where we’re going with the club. What we had before was working - we’re just trying to build on that.”
