UNDEFEATED Montpellier went three from three to top Pool 2 with victory over South African side the Lions.
Both sides came into the match evenly poised on the same points difference of plus 38, while the Top 14 side were one point clear but this result moves the French side three points clear at the summit with one foot already in the knockout stages.
The home side started the better, on top at scrum time and only some last-ditch defence from the Lions kept them at bay.
