Georgia and Israel in line for Challenge Cup

Teams from Georgia, Israel and South Africa are in the running to fill the two vacant spots in the 2023/24 European Challenge Cup.
The draw for next season’s Challenge Cup included two, as yet unnamed, invited teams in the 18-team line-up with a decision set to be made soon.
‘Invitee 1’ has been drawn in Pool 1 with Pau, Dragons, Zebre, France’s ProD2 champions Oyonnax and Cell C Sharks, while ‘Invitee 2’ is in Pool C with Edinburgh, Castres, Clermont, Gloucester and Scarlets providing the opposition.
