Couilloud can push Dupont all the way

ON THE evidence of Baptiste Couilloud’s command performance in Lyon’s 30-12 European Challenge Cup victory over Toulon in Marseille, they have a scrum-half capable of pushing Antoine Dupont all the way to the 2023 World Cup – and beyond.
Couilloud, 24, is electric around the fringes, has a fine pass and tactical kicking game, and he put Lyon in the driving seat with his firsthalf try. With Couilloud as the hub, Lyon went on to overwhelm a Toulon outfit who were a pale shadow of the side that slammed Saracens in the semi-finals a fortnight ago.
