Ambitious Ealing on the trail of Simpson

Wanted: Joe Simpson

EALING Trailfinders are again hot on the hunt for Wasps scrumhalf Joe Simpson who is out of contract at the end of the season.
The Trailfinders were interested in signing Simpson for this season but were unable to get a deal across the line because he had a year left to run.
We reported in September that Simpson, who has been playing second fiddle to Dan Robson, was a target for Harlequins with Danny Care out of contract at the end of the season.
