Pirates fail to repel late Ulster attack

PIRATES coach Alan Paver believes his team are still in with a chance of progression despite losing ground to Pool 5 leaders Ulster A.
Alex O’Meara scored the only try for Pirates three minutes after halftime, but a couple of efforts from Rob Lyttle and tries from captain Rob Andrew and Zack McCall sealed a crucial bonus point for Ulster.
“I was pleased with the way the guys stayed in the game but we needed to build more after starting well in the second-half,” said Paver. “We will learn from this and move on.”
