THE Blues Select fell to their second defeat and lie bottom of Pool 2.
Cardiff Blues No.8 Sion Bennett was the only try scorer for the visitors while Blues academy outhalf Ben Jones kicked a conversion and penalty.
But after trailing 17-0 at half-time Cardiff left with nothing for the second week in a row.
The Leinster pack, which included several players with regular senior appearances, was dominant in the early stages and were awarded a penalty try after ten minutes. Out-half Cathal Marsh added the extras.
