Sandal props up derby day win

BEN Sandal crossed for two tries as Northumberland ran out comfortable winners over Durham.
The hosts took the lead on 13 minutes with a pickand- go try by prop Sandal.
A Jobe Roxby penalty closed the gap before Durham went ahead. A big hit from Jack Hedley in midfield forced a penalty and Ben Palmer ran a smart supporting line to cross for the try. Roxby converted, before Sandal stormed through a gap for his second try.
