A STRONG second-half performance saw Kent through to their second victory of this year’s competition despite a late rally which brought Devon within a couple of points. On this fine, sunny afternoon at Hall Road, the visitors enjoyed early pressure as Jack Bond’s interception put them on the attack, but as they broke out of defence, the host county struck first with Jake Lloyd putting Dan Smart through for the opening try.
